Our Story

We’ve Been manufacturing wood products since 2009.

Our Philosophy

David Schnegg and Solomon Brown began sharing a workspace in Orlando after David decided to pursue a woodworking career full time. With a background in drafting, David used his keen eye for symmetry and an experimental approach to woodworking construction techniques. Solomon’s experience in electrical engineering has led to the fusion of modern technology with traditional woodcraft. David and Solomon have very different artistic visions but share the same passion for craftsmanship and quality.

Custom Design

We design and engineer everything we build in our shop. Nothing hits the shop floor until we have designed it in AutoCAD first. Design is always the first step in saving material and labor costs. It’s like driving your car without knowing where you’re going and without a map to get there.

Value Engineering

We love solid woods too, but we know how expensive and rare they can get. Most products are value engineered with plywoods, laminates, and veneers that offer  improved characteristics and drastically lower costs. We have access to a wide range of diverse materials to help save and improve performance.

Installation & Delivery

We can locally install what we build in Central Florida. Items that must be shipped to their final destination will require a qualified installer to safely maneuver items into position and align the parts flush. We can work with your GC or Installer for proper installation instructions.

DS Wood Solutions was looking for the right client to build a unique and one of a kind retail cash wrap for a new store, I was the lucky one when they picked me! I brought them my ideas and explained my goals for the new store and they let me tweak and help design our new creation. After our Flagship store was completed, DS Wood Solutions figured out how to value engineer our franchisee rollout stores.
